Another round as a standard bearer, this time got the Peacock featured group of Grace Kim and Daniel Kang. Both were pleasant and introduced themselves. They didn’t play up to their skill level, Grace birdied the first and the 15th, but missed some second putts. Danielle was fighting back issues…you could tell she was frustrated with herself but she was always smiling and laughing with her caddy and some people in the crowd. Made some good shots down the stretch (chipped in for birdie on 17) and hit it close on 18. Was +2 for the day, and gave me a signed ball thanking me for volunteering. You can tell that all the participants are appreciative, and the amateurs especially were laughing and having a great time just being there. Women’s golf is a billion times better than men’s.
