First of all, not a very walking-friendly course. The back 9 didn’t seem as bad as the front but that could be because we got a cart at the turn; the front was roller-coaster levels of undulation. Not a very long course (we played the blues which notched in just over 6000 yards) but with the elevation changes, blind shots and SUPER-fast greens we had our hands full. I three-putted the first green from 6 feet for instance. If you were above the hole, then you had a lighting putt that had small chance of not wandering 10 feet or more past the cup.
I hit the ball ok on the front, was five over with 3 three putts but I got overheated and tired after walking 9. The swing on the back turned into a sway-back-and-through festival with several doubles and two lost balls. I THINK I enjoyed the course, but was feeling off so will need another round out there to really get a good feel of the place.
